This is an open-source and one of the best Nintendo DS emulators you will find for Mac, Windows, and Linux. The emulator is currently only useful for homebrew development and research purposes DeSmuME. It is written in C++ with portability in mind, with builds actively maintained for Windows, Linux and macOS. Nintendo Switch: Yuzu is an experimental open-source emulator for the Nintendo Switch from the creators of Citra. Only desmume and epsxe are the only two emulators that work for all of my games on the emulator console. It works perfectly for all of my DS games. Desmume is king even though there has not been an update for awhile. Software list additions include Taiwanese Game Gear cartridges, Master System prototypes, a big batch of software for the Australian MicroBee series, and quite a few add-on ROMs for the Acorn BBC Micro LegoManIAm94.
